Nursery News

Wow! It has been an incredibly busy two weeks of learning.  Last week nursery children were learning about the Dentist.  Children’s learning focused on how to clean our teeth, number matching between 1 to 10 and practiced brushing their teeth.  We hope that they have been completing their teeth cleaning chart to remind them to brush twice a day.

The weather finally allowed us to go to Forest School where the children investigated the outdoors and used their every increasing imagination to engage in play in the natural environment.

This week has been very exciting indeed as we have been learning all about Firefighters. 

Children have heard stories about Ellie the Firedog and learned all about fire safety, including never to touch dangerous things, how to ‘Stop Drop and Roll’ and the importance of knowing where they live in case of an emergency.  They have all really enjoyed acting as firefighters.
