Busy Bees

 

Busy Bees is our afternoon Nurture group.  The group is led by our Learning Mentor Annie Goddard and Learning Support Assistant Christine Farren.  Busy Bees takes place Monday - Thursday afternoons, in our specially designed Nurture room, for a group of Key Stage 1 children.  The Nurture group leaders follow 6 main principles:

Children's learning is understood developmentally.

The classroom offers a safe base.

Nurture is important for the development of self-esteem.

Language is understood as a vital means of communication.

All behaviour is communication.

Transitions are significant in the lives of children.
