Our Vision states that we wish to nurture wisdom through a balanced and enriched curriculum. This is a hugely important aspect of our children’s learning as we strive to offer opportunities to develop our children beyond the classroom. Trips, experiences and opportunities, immerse our learners in the curriculum, bringing learning to life and allowing for a sense of awe and wonder within it.
This can be referred to as ‘Cultural Capital’. It gives our students the vital background knowledge required to be informed and thoughtful members of our community who understand and believe in British values. These opportunities are carefully planned and weaved throughout our curriculum, exposing our children to learning and experiences outside of the national curriculum that prepare them for life as citizens in an everchanging, modern world.
