Homework & Reading

At the beginning of the academic year, each Friday the children will bring home sound practise sheets to help read and write the sounds we learn in Phonics each week. Please keep these at home so that your child can look back and practise them again and again.

Reading books will be changed every Friday. Please bring them into school every day as we will listen to your child read throughout the week. We ask you to share the book with your child at least four times per week, however 5 minutes every day would be even better! Please sign the reading record to show you have listened to your child each time. 

Don't forget our RWI online reading homework. Children are expected to read their online book and complete the quiz. Please ask if you need the log-in details again.
