Week Beginning 23rd September 2024

We’ve had lots of fun this week! We had a great afternoon on Tuesday with Mrs Entwistle and Mr Hollins and we’ve been doing some super learning during our Carpet Times and at ‘Busy Learning time’! We loved learning about Greece on Thursday for 'European Day of Languages' too!

Our Theme this term is 'Magnificent Me'. This week we have been talking about our families. Here are some of us drawing pictures of the special people in our family...

On Tuesday this week we were ‘tidy police’ with Mrs Entwistle and learnt how to tidy up and why it is important we keep our Nursery tidy.

Then we went onto the playground for P.E. with Mr Hollins! We are learning how to listen to instructions and follow the P.E. rules. This week we were practising our ball skills.

On Thursday it was ‘European Day of Languages’. Nursery’s focus country was Greece. We learnt all about Greece, tasted some Greek food, did some Greek dancing, made Greek flags, learnt some Greek words such as ‘Kalimera’ and even did some plate smashing!
