Today please could you email me your Maths, Handwriting and R.E work. FINAL DAY!

Maths:

L.O: to measure time in hours

Today’s lesson is very similar to our last maths lesson, however this time instead of looking at how the seconds have changed, we are going to be looking at how the hours change. You need to read the two clocks and then count how many hours difference there has been. You may find it helpful to use a timeline or you can work it out as a subtraction.

To start with answer your ‘In Focus’ question which is on the first page. As we would normally discuss this with our partners at school, see if there is an adult or older brother or sister to talk to about it. Please use the box on this page record your answer and methods.

Next look at the ‘Guided Practice’ which shows you some of the different style questions. I have left the answers on the worksheet so you can see how to go about answering these types of questions.

Now it is your turn! Have a go at the ‘Independent Practice’ which is a copy of the worksheet that you would have completed in your MNP workbooks at school.

As we did last time, after completing your worksheet, I would like you to spend some more time on your times table rockstars account which is set to the 5 times tables. You should work on being able to recall these answers instantly without counting up from 0.

Please could you email this piece of work to me.

Handwriting:

L.O: to form letters

Think carefully about how to form the letter ‘t’. Practise writing the tt double letters in the words and sentences on the worksheet. After, make up your own sentences containing some of the words.

Please could you email this piece of work to me.

RE:

L.O: to learn about baptism

Today we are going to explore in more detail what a baptism is and why it is special. Go through the PowerPoint slides and carefully read the information.

For your activity, on the worksheet match up the key baptism terms with its definition.

Please could you email this piece of work to me.

Wellbeing Afternoon:

At school, we have decided to have Friday afternoon as a relax time. Before you do this, have a look at the past week - are there any lessons you've missed that you could finish off today.

Take some time to relax and enjoy time at home. You may want to do some colouring, jigsaws, play a game, read a book or watch a movie.

I am super proud of everything you have achieved during your time remote learning and I can't wait to see you all on Monday morning!
