We have been settling back into Nursery life after the Easter break and welcoming the new children, We have been talking about what we did over the Easter holidays and telling our friends about all the Easter Eggs we ate! Take a look at some of the super learning we have been doing…

In PE on Tuesday we were practising our ball skills.

Well done to Reina who achieved the PE certificate this week.

We played a game with Tigs the Tiger in Maths on Wednesday. He was so cheeky and kept stealing numbers from our number line! We had to guess which number was missing each time. We are getting really good at counting and recognising numbers to 5. We could also show Tigs the numbers on our fingers. This is called subitising!

Here we are playing a game of 'Silly Soup'! We sang the special song as we passed the bag around the circle. Whoever was holding the bag when the song finished had to pick a picture out of the bag. If it began with the sound 's' it went into our silly soup! We ended up with lots of funny things in our soup such as socks, spiders, spaghetti and snails!

On Friday we went on the climbing frames and slides! We were very sensible, careful and safe and demonstrated some excellent balancing, stepping, climbing and sliding skills! This helps us with our Gross Motor development.
