SUPER EXCITING! On Thursday, it is World Book Day! As you know I LOVE reading and I also know how much you all do too!  During the week we have lots of activities linked to World Book Day ......

 

 We have stories from other teachers to watch and listen to, live shows to watch, author and illustrator acdemy workshops and competitions to enter! Go for the 'Create a Book Character' competition as there is a £10 Book Token prize for the best one in Year 5/6. 

You will also receive a certificate for completing soem of the reading challenges on the challenges sheet below - start now rather than trying to do them all on Thursday!

On Thursday, dress up on a book character!  If you are in a school bubble please come in your costume and if you are at home join in the fun and dress up too!  Send in a photo of you dressed up and just enjoying yourself.  You don't have to spend lots of money on a costume - just search the internet for simple inspirational ideas that are easy. 

 

Our reading lessons this week are a little different, as we will be having fun related to World Book Day.  I hope you enjoy the activities!
