RE

In RE we will be considering two big questions: 'Why are festivals important to religious communities?' and 'Why do some people view life as like a journey?'

Our first question is 'Why are festivals important to religious communities?' We will be looking at a range of religions within this topic to explore the different festivals and holidays they adhere to and discover the reasons they are celebrated. 

Within our second question of 'Why do some people view life as like a journey?' we will be be looking at a range of religions and discuss the journey that people go on within these.

One of the projects we have done this half term is to compile information about different holidays within different religions. The children were randomly assigned a religious holiday/festival and then had to research it!
