Week Beginning 3rd October 2022
We’ve had lots of fun this week! We had a great afternoon on Monday with Mrs Entwistle and Mr Ashby and we’ve been doing some super learning during our Carpet Times and at ‘Busy Learning time’!
This week we were ‘tidy police’ with Mrs Entwistle and learnt how to tidy up and why it is important we keep our Nursery tidy.
Then we went to the Hall with Mr Ashby for P.E.! We are learning how to listen to instructions and follow the P.E. rules.
This week was Harvest Festival. On Wednesday we learnt all about Harvest and why and how we celebrate Harvest Festival.
We learnt the song ‘Dingle Dangle Scarecrow’ - here we are singing it and doing the actions!
Each day we ‘self-register’. We find our name and put it in the pot so Miss Haslam knows we’re here. We’re getting really good at recognising our names. Then at carpet time we count how many names are in the pot to find out how many children are at Nursery! We’re super at counting!

On Friday it was really windy so we went outside with some bubbles! We had lots of fun chasing them and trying to pop them!

We’ve all painted a picture of ourselves. We looked in a mirror and thought carefully about the colour of our skin, eyes and hair.
