Yellow group-SENTENCE WRITING Practise writing the sound ’z’, check you have written it the right way round. Write a sentence using a word with the ‘z’ sound in e.g. ‘I went to the zoo’.  Use your Fred-fingers to help you sound out your words and make sure you have a finger space between each word. Doubling-look at the doubling robot power-point below. You can use some of your own building blocks or counters to help you work out the answers for each slide. You will see that whatever number of blocks goes in one side of the robot, the same must go into the other side.

Friday catch up & well-being time

Now is the time to relax after a busy week. You can choose to go back to any tasks you need to complete or wish to try again. Below are some activities to help you rest and unwind.

• Try some mindfulness breathing activities by using the PDF below. The activities help you to switch off and improve your mood if you are not feeling very happy.
• Make a mindfulness name plaque-you can type your name and print it out to colour or copy similar designs onto plain paper. The patterns are designed to encourage you to colour with time and care.
• Listen to some relaxing music while you colour, draw or look at a book-
