Week Beginning 27th November 2023

We've had another busy week in Nursery this week!

In PE on Tuesday we were moving like different animals! We then had to mirror each other. We were brilliant at moving in different ways. Can you guess some of the animals we were pretending to be?

On Wednesday we had our 'Let's Celebrate' Theme Day! We had so much fun dancing, playing party games and making and eating party food! In the afternoon, we joined up with Reception for some more party games and celebrations!

Thursday was St. Andrew's Day! We learnt about this Scottish celebration and why it is celebrated. We learnt all about Jesus's friend Andrew and why he became a Saint. We made Scottish flags, tried a bit of Scottish dancing, created some Scottish thistles and designed some tartan patterns!

On Thursday we put up our Christmas decorations in Nursery! We had so much fun decorating the tree in particular! On Friday 1st December we opened the first day of our advent calendar and there was a huge chocolate coin inside!

On Friday we went to Forest School! We collected some dry, crunchy leaves which we turned into 'leaf confetti' when we got back to the classroom. We then used this leaf confetti to make nature wands.
