English

In this first lesson, you will revise word classification, learn vocabulary that is key to the unit and explore key characters and points in the plot.  Follow the lesson through making sure you tackle the tasks as you go. 

Reading (SEND IN)

SATs Paper 2015

Read the first text in the reading booklet: Charlie Small, then answer the questions on this text (Q1-12).  You don’t need to print any of it out: answers on paper or on a Word document are fine! 

Maths (SEND IN)

This week’s lessons focus on multiplying decimals by a 2-digit whole number and is the end of our ‘Decimals’ unit of work.   Complete a journal for the ‘In Focus Task’ and complete worksheet 12 and send both in. 

Geography (SEND IN)

Read through the information on the slide show (United Kingdom WK1) .  Think about the multiple choice questions rather than just straight away looking at the answer!

Task:

Print out the blank map and label the countries of the UK and their capital cities.  There are three different options: 1A being the easiest, 1C the hardest.  Use an internet map of the UK to help you position the cities accurately – use the coastline to help you judge where to position them also.  Once you have completed this, use worksheet 1D to help you create a fact file about the UK. 

FRENCH

Today's French lesson will be a revision of your understanding and pronunciation of the numbers 1 to 20.  Click on the link to watch the You Tube video.  Don't forget to sing along!!  Why not ask a family member to join you!
