Today please could you email me your Maths, Handwriting and R.E work.

Maths:

L.O: to tell and write the time from 12-hour and 24-hour clocks

Today you will use your knowledge of telling the digital and analogue time to read digital clocks. This lesson is very similar to yesterday so if you need any help it might be helpful to look again at the video from yesterday.

To start with answer your ‘In Focus’ question which is on the first page. As we would normally discuss this with our partners at school, see if there is an adult or older brother or sister to talk to about it. Please use the box on this page record your answer and methods.

Next look at the ‘Guided Practice’ which shows you some of the different style questions. I have left the answers on the worksheet so you can see the setting out and how to go about answering these types of questions. Look carefully at this as it will help you.

Now it is your turn! Have a go at the ‘Independent Practice’ which is a copy of the worksheet that you would have completed in your MNP workbooks at school.

Please could you email this piece of work to me.

Handwriting:

L.O: to write in French

Copy the French and English animal names in your neatest handwriting, looking carefully at the joins on the sheet. If you would like to keep practising these, see if you can write down any other animals in French that we have learnt. Remember this is a handwriting lesson.

Please could you email this piece of work to me.

RE:

L.O: to find similarities and differences

For R.E this term we will be looking at the big question, why do Christians call the day Jesus died Good Friday? To begin with, we are first going to look at the Baptism of Jesus. Watch the video below to see this event from the bible.

On the worksheet there are two different paintings (Verrocchio and Daniel Bonnell) of the Baptism. Look carefully at the two, what similarities and differences can you see? Christians believe God is three in one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Can you see evidence for this belief in the pictures?

For your task today, I would like you to create your own picture of the baptism of Jesus which include symbols for the voice of God and the Holy Spirit.

Please could you email this piece of work to me.

Wellbeing Afternoon:

At school, we have decided to have Friday afternoon as a relax time. Before you do this, have a look at the past week - are there any lessons you've missed that you could finish off today.

Take some time to relax and enjoy time at home. You may want to do some colouring, jigsaws, play a game, read a book or watch a movie.

Coming back after a week off can be difficult, and it is even harder being at home so well done to all of you for everything you have achieved this week and I hope you have a restful weekend.
