Maths

Numbers to 20. Play some games with your family to practise accurate counting to 20.

  • Hide and seek-take turns to count to 20 while the other person hides. Where is the best hiding place in your home?
  • 20 Passes-using a ball, teddy or scrunched up tin foil, see how many times you can throw it to one another. Count and see if you manage to get to 20.
  • 20 seconds-challenge one another to name as many animals, toys, chocolate bars as possible in 20 seconds. One person counts to 20 while the other names the items.

PSHE

This term we are thinking about how we can be healthy. The diet we eat has an impact on our health and the healthier the food, the better we feel. Talk to your grown up about the food you eat, is it mostly healthy options? How could you improve your diet? Look at the PDF below, you are challenged to make a healthy lunchbox. You can either print it out or draw the foods that you think are good for us.

Below you will find some PE challenge cards from Mr Ashby. He would like you to choose one activity to try and send in a photo of you doing it.
