We are on now on RWI Set 3 and so you will need to follow this link every day for the daily phonics session which is available from 9.30 am. Each day the phonics session comprises of two separate videos. There is a speed sounds lesson video and a spelling lesson video. You need to complete both sections. I have used a screenshot to clarify this.

LO: To retell a story
We are going to write the next section of The Magic Paintbrush. I have ticked in green on the story map the parts of the story that you need to write about and have included an example to help you with some sentence openers for you to choose from.
Remember to use the RWI sound mat to help you to spell out words. Please don't forget your finger spaces, capital letters and full stops.

LO: To find out about Neil Armstrong’s landing on the moon and the impact this had on the world.
Look at the Neil Armstrong slides. What can you remember about this man? Recap the main facts about him on the slides. Go through the information on the slides about the Apollo 11 mission and the famous statement by Neil Armstrong.
How do you think Neil Armstrong would have felt the moment he stepped onto the moon? Think of adjectives to describe how Armstrong might have felt.
