LO: To partition a number into tens and ones

 

Task: Read the slides and complete the worksheet. send in

 

Challenge: If you feel ready for a challenge, then have a go at one of the challenge sheets. You can just choose one question if you wish or do all three.

Phonics

 

We are revisiting  RWI Set 3 again. Today's sound is  er better letter

 

I have also ticked the extra Read the Red Words sections too. If you have time you could have a go at any of the other set 3 lessons as they will all help you to improve your phonics.

English

 

There are three separate small tasks to send in today.

 

LO: To write sentences containing   ea  and ee  graphemes 

                                    ea  cup of tea

                                    ee what can you see?

 

 

1.   Read the ea and ee sound button cards with your child.

 

2.  Now read the ea   ee  practice sheet

 

3.   Read the ea ee phoneme spotter postcard. Highlight on the sheet or write a list of all of the words containing the grapheme ea ee.  (send in)

 

4.  Your adult will read the sentence out to you and you will write it down. Remember to count how many words are in the sentence. Don’t forget a capital letter and a full stop at the end of the sentence. Remember these sentences only contain the ea grapheme.

 

I had to clean my seat.

My Mum and my sister had a cup of tea. (send in)

 

5.     Challenge: Can you read the multisyllabic ea words

 

6.     Your adult will read the sentence out to you and you will write it down. Remember to count how many words are in the sentence. Don’t forget a capital letter and a full stop at the end of the sentence. These sentences contain both the ea and ee grapheme.

 

My dog likes to sleep on his green bed and dream.

                  My Nan got me a treat this week. (send in)
