Week Beginning 13th March 2023
This week we have been learning all about Spring! We talked about the four seasons and learnt about the signs of Spring and things we might see in the Spring time.
We did lots of Spring-related activities during Busy Learning time, including making some cotton wool lambs, fluffy chicks and some beautiful blossom trees by scrunching up tissue paper.
We read the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and we learnt about the life cycle of a butterfly. We also watched a video of a real caterpillar turning into a butterfly!

Planting sunflower seeds.
We’re looking forward to seeing how our seeds grow and change. We learnt that plants and flowers need soil, water and sun to grow.
On Tuesday it rained a lot! We had lots of fun playing in the rain and jumping in puddles!
More Busy Learning…
On Friday we talked about Mother’s Day and how it’s a special day to say thank you to our Mums for everything they do for us. We made Mother’s Day cards and talked about why we love our Mums and what makes them special.
