Story time – check for an email to give you the code for chapter 25

Today I would like you to return your maths and English work.

Maths

Miss Thomas’s group – we are finishing up our chapter of problem solving with a bit of Mind Workout.  Instead of talking through your ideas with your adults, try teaching them what to do to answer it.  If you can teach them and they understand what you have said, then you definitely know what you are doing.

Mrs Malone’s group – Look at the learning pages and then complete the worksheets.

English

Miss Thomas’s group – Follow the English learning and instructions and then complete the tasks.  When doing the written task, you can either print out the sheet to work on or you can write your answers on your own sheet of paper.  If you are using plain paper, ask an adult to draw you some straight lines for your writing.  It will help you to keep everything neat and tidy.

Mrs Malone’s group – Read the book again and complete the tasks on the sheet.

Catch up afternoon

This is a little bit of breathing space for you to have a go at some of the activities that you might have missed during the week.

If you have had a really great week and have completed everything already, then I am really proud of you.  Keep it up!

Take this time to do something that you want to do. if you do want to do something that is linked to school, you can do your daily reading or go on Times Table Rock Stars.  Try the website ‘Hit the button’.  This is a site that test the speed of your maths knowledge.
