In Nursery and Reception, we follow the Early Years curriculum and maths is taught through a range of practical and play based learning experiences.  As children move through the school, maths is taught daily and teachers use the ABBC Maths document to support planning and delivery of the National Curriculum.  Alongside their daily maths lessons, the whole school from Reception to Year 6, use a strand of Big Maths which is a programme for teaching key skills.

 

For children who need additional support we use First Class Maths, Plus 1 and Power of 2 .
