Week Beginning 6th March 2023
This week we have been learning all about animals and their babies! We talked about how lots of baby animals are born in the Spring and learnt the names of some baby animals, such as lambs, calves, chicks, foals, piglets, kids and ducklings.
We have been doing some activities to show our knowledge during Busy Learning. In one of these activities we had to match animals with the correct baby animals.
At Forest School this week we enjoyed playing on the bridges Year 5 have built!
PE with Mr Ashby…
We have been practising our pencil control and writing our names. We are learning how to hold a pencil correctly and form letters. All the ‘Finger Gym’ activities we do at school help us to do this too!
It snowed this week! We had fun exploring the snow and trying to catch it on our tongues! It snowed so much on Thursday and Friday that Mrs Lee had to close the school!
