Week Beginning 24th April 2023
We have been learning about different habitats this week. We learnt that a habitat is a place where something lives and some examples of habitats are trees, gardens, ponds, forests, jungles and deserts. We talked about what animals might live in the different habitats.
In one activity we did this week, we had to cut out animals and stick them in the correct habitat. We really persevered with using scissors and Miss Haslam is very proud of how our cutting skills are developing. We all managed to match the correct animals to the right habitats too!
This week we have started Read, Write Inc! This will help us learn to read and write. Fred the frog helps us with our Phonics and he was very impressed with our super listening and learning!
At Forest School this week we made our own paintbrushes out of things we could find in the woods. Look at how creative we were...
Look at some of the super independent learning we have been doing during ‘Busy Learning’ time this week…
