Yellow group-Practise writing the sound ’h’, check you have written it the right way round.  Think of 3 words with the ‘h’ sound in e.g. hit, hum. Write these words using your Fred-fingers to help you sound each out- h-i-p - hip. Read the words below-look out for any alien words! Use the link below to practise saying all set 1 sounds.

 

Green group- practise writing the sound ’p’.  Think of a word with the ‘p’ sound in e.g. pet, pat. Write a sentence using your word e.g. ‘I can pat my pet pig’.  Use your Fred-fingers to help you sound out your words and make sure you have a finger space between each word. UW

Today we are looking at vehicles from the past. Using the link below, you can listen to a story and compare trains, past and present. You will be challenged to make a train picture using 2D shapes such as circles, triangles and squares. You can draw and cut shapes out using paper, empty food packaging or old wrapping paper. SEND IN

Using the alphabet mat below, look through some of your story books. Find a word for each letter and make a list-starting with Aa and working through as far as you can to Zz.
