## Today please could you email me your Maths, Spelling and PSHE work.

### Maths:

L.O: to add combinations of different coins

We are continuing our unit of money. You need to look carefully at the different coins on the page and think about how you can make the various amounts of money.

Next look at the ‘Guided Practice’ which shows you some of the different style questions. I have left the answers on the worksheet so you can see the setting out and how to go about answering these types of questions.

Now it is your turn! Have a go at the ‘Independent Practice’ which is a copy of the worksheet that you would have completed in your MNP workbooks at school.

If you feel up for it, have a go at the challenge! Good luck!

Please could you email this piece of work to me.

### English:

L.O: to evaluate, edit and proofread writing

On the slides there is an example piece of work, read through the example child’s work. See if you can find any errors or make any improvements to the work. Write the child’s work again with the edits and improvements made.

Then read over your work from yesterday and evaluate, edit and proofread your writing. What did you find? Do all the sentences make sense? Is it a balanced discussion? Is the language appropriate for a discussion?

### Spelling:

L.O: to investigate homophones

For spelling today we will be watching a lesson by Mr Byrne-Smith on Oak Academy. He will remind you what a homophone is and go through some examples. During the video you will need to pause when asked to complete the sentences.

At the end of the video are some useful homophone words for you to try and remember.

Please could you email this piece of work to me.
