Yellow group-Practice writing the sound ’nk’.  Think of 3 words with the ‘nk’ sound in e.g. sink, pink. Write these words using your Fred-fingers to help you sound each out-s-i-nk-sink. Read the words below-look out for any alien words!

Maths

Using the 10 frame from yesterday, your grown up will call out a number between 0-10 and you must fill in the 10 frame accordingly using your counters.

Now, draw the outline of a ladybird. Again, ask your adult to call out a number between 0-10 and this time you must draw that number of spots on your ladybird. Count the spots to check if you are correct-try touching each spot as you count, then just pointing and then counting in your head. Please send me a picture of one of your ladybirds.

Play a board game with someone in your family. Remember to follow the rules of the game and take turns. How will you feel if you win or lose? Remember, it is fun to play a game, even if somebody else wins. If you have not got a board game, there are many online games to choose from; use one of the links below.

Literacy

Design and draw a new house for the Three Little Pigs. Label it to explain why it will be strong enough to keep the Big Bad Wolf out. How many bedrooms will it have? What material will it be made from. Is there an upstairs?
