Yellow group-Practice writing the sound ’l’, check you have written it the right way round.  Think of 3 words with the ‘l’ sound in e.g. lit, last. Write these words using your Fred-fingers to help you sound each out- l-i-p - lip. Read the words below-look out for any alien words! Use the link below to practise saying all set 1 sounds.

Green group- practice writing the sound ’f’.  Think of a word with the ‘f’ sound in e.g. foot, farm. Write a sentence using your word e.g. ‘I went to the farm’.  Use your Fred-fingers to help you sound out your words and make sure you have a finger space between each word. Addition. Open the PDF below, you will see the song ‘Ten Green Bottles’. Go through each slide, singing the song and looking at how the numbers are represented on the part-whole model.  Talk to your grown up about each slide. Remember, each model adds up to 10.

Look at the PDF below exploring feelings. Go through each slide and talk about them with your grown up.

Thinking back to the story of The Giant Turnip, complete the two tasks below. First read the words and draw the pictures of the characters or items from the story. Next look at the spot the difference pictures. You do not need to print these out-just talk to your adult about them, saying how they are different. The answers are at the end if you get stuck!
