Today’s questions are the last ones that you will be doing.  As with yesterday’s questions, they are a variety covering everything you have learnt since starting Year 5.  Make sure you read the questions carefully before you attempt to answer them.  When you have finished check through your work (just like you would do in school).   Please send your work to me.

LO: to create a persuasive poster

 

Click on the link to watch the story again.  Your task today is to create a persuasive poster to entice customers into The Little Shoemaker’s shop.  You will need to use the writing skills which you learnt a few weeks ago for your persuasive letter writing.  In addition, think back to when you designed a persuasive poster to advertise pet trampolines and use the skills you learnt in that lesson too.  I expect to see exciting and enticing vocabulary.   Make your poster striking and eye-catching.  Please send your finished poster to me.

If you haven’t read the previous chapters, you will need to catch up before starting today’s lesson.

Today, I would like you to read chapter four of The Thought Snatcher, cast your vote as to what will happen next and complete the quiz.  Your task today is to answer these questions (reading domain 2b: retrieve and record information / identify key details from fiction and non-fiction)

Today is the final lesson in the unit of finding the pulse in music.  You will be challenged to find the pulse, downbeat and then the time signature in the different pieces of music Mr Pelakar plays.
