We are on now on RWI Set 3 and so you will need to follow this link every day for the daily phonics session which is available from 9.30 am. Each day the phonics session comprises of two separate videos. There is a speed sounds lesson video and a spelling lesson video. You need to complete both sections. I hope the screenshot helps clarify this, as I know it was a little confusing to follow last week.
English
LO: To listen to and respond to a story
In this first lesson of this new unit, we will listen to the story ‘The Magic Paintbrush’ and map out the key points in the story. I have included a pdf of the story so you can have a copy of the book as well to help you.
First, start the video

Task: To map the story (send in)
I have included an example of a story map to help you and a blank story map for you to use. Remember the pictures do not have to be perfect, it’s just for you to understand the story. If you find this too difficult, then just draw 3 things: 1) What happens at the beginning of the story, the middle of the story and at the end of the story.
