Please send in your maths, SPAG and a picture of you doing PE today.

Please be aware I am in the classroom this week and therefore replies will not be immediate.

Maths

LO: To be able to add fractions with the same denominator

We're rocking this unit on fractions! I'm so proud of all of you who are sending in work - this will only help you in the future! Today we are moving on to adding fractions with the same denominator. Remember that the denominator is the bottom number of the fraction! Watch the video I made to help you, you can do this!

Reading

LO: To answer questions on a text

This week, we are going to be reading the book ‘Pants on fire’

Today, you are going to read chapter 4 and then complete the online quiz. I will be able to see if you have done this activity!

This book is making us all laugh out loud in the classroom - I hope you're enjoying it too!

SPAG

LO: To explore simple and compound sentences

This half term, we are going to explore simple and compound sentences. Some of the children may have looked at these lessons previously, however it is good to revise lessons to check our knowledge. Here is the link to todays lesson with Mr Byrne-Smith, follow along with the video, pausing when he tells you to do and completing the tasks.

PE

For this weeks PE there are 6 challenges to choose from. You will need to use your skills of balance, speed, agility and co-ordination.

If you can take a picture of you doing the activities I would love to see them - Mr Ashby

PSHE

This half term in PSHE, we are looking at the puzzle piece, 'healthy me'. I would like you to talk to your adults about what we can do to stay healthy. - Mrs Entwistle

Once you have done this, I would like you to take some time to assess how you feel about returning to school. I know some of you may feel nervous, and some of you may be excited. It's possible that some of you may feel both nervous and excited! Whatever emotions you feel about returning are okay, but just take a moment to think about how you feel. - Miss Hinton
