9:00 – 10:00 Maths (SEND IN)
Maths No Problem
LO: To find pairs of numbers that satisfy an equation with two unknowns, listing possibilities.
Make sure you have the You Tube video that goes over the ‘In Focus’, but also the ‘Guided Practice’ and the worksheet if needed. You CAN DO THIS!
Task:
- Go through the ‘In Focus’ task with me on the video.
- Complete the ‘Guided Practice’ on the worksheet, with me on the video. Remember that you can type into the text boxes that I’ve put in for you.

Extension: Complete the challenge question.
Mrs. Holdaway’s Group
LO: The nine times table.
In this lesson you will look at the nine times table, considering what patterns there are.
- Work through the tasks and main learning. Write answers on the worksheets or just on paper.
10:00 – 10:45 Reading / English
Use this time to catch up with any stories that you haven’t had the chance to listen to. Remember that we have read the beginning to each of the books below this half-term:
- Fire Girl, Forest Boy
- Wonderscape
- The Orphans of the Tide
- The Vanishing Trick
- Lost
Once you have listened to them (I've included all of the You Tube links for the stories in a Word document in an email today ), complete the quiz.
11:00 – 12:00 Reading / English
Once you have finished listening to all the stories attempt the quiz in the link below. There are 5 questions about each book, so 25 in total. The person with the highest score by the beginning of next term (so you have longer to complete all of the stories if you need to) will win a prize, which I will send out to your address in the post – part of the prize you will be able to choose yourself. I may be tempted to send a runner’s up prize too …… If there is a tie, then I will be sending out a set of tie-breaker questions to determine the ultimate winner.
Please don't write a 'nickname' - just write your first name, so I know who has the highest score. Good luck everyone!
‘Catch Up’
Use this time to catch up with any work you didn’t get a chance to do throughout the week, do some extra practise with something you found challenging or to investigate an area you found interesting.
Wellbeing
And BREATH! Take some time to feel proud of yourself and recognise how well you have done. Choose an activity that you love doing, like colouring, drawing, playing a game, cooking, walking or reading and ENJOY IT. We are ALL proud of you. You really deserve this time for you!
