Maths

Numbers to 20. Today I would like you to practice counting forwards and back to 20. You can do this playing the passing game from yesterday or you could make a simple rocket, using Lego or a toilet roll tube and launch your rocket carefully when you get to zero.

Below are some dot-to-dot pictures using numbers to 20. If you have a printer you could print them out, otherwise you can follow each picture on screen with your finger. Count as you are joining the numbers.

This term we are we are focusing on ‘Growing’ and today I would like you to think about how you have changed as you have grown. Find some photos of when you were a baby and then look in a mirror at yourself-what is the same? What is different?
Look at the PDF below with your grown-up and talk about the different stages we go through in life. Do you know someone in each stage? Look at the sequencing pictures below and talk about which picture goes where-you do not need to print, just talk with your grown up.

Literacy

Alphabet challenge. Follow the link below to play an alphabet game. Your job is to click on the letters in the correct order from A-Z before the timer runs out. It is tricky, I got to ‘R’ after lots of attempts! Keep trying as you will get faster each time. There is an activity below that you can also complete-if you cannot print it out, point and tell the answers to your grown up. SEND IN
