Maths:

L.O: to solve multiple step word problems   

 

Today is our final lesson in our money unit. Some of the problems today have multiple steps to solve before you find the final answer so make sure to read the problem carefully. Use the blank space on the worksheets to draw out your columns.

 

To start with answer your ‘In Focus’ question which is on the first page. As we would normally discuss this with our partners at school, see if there is an adult or older brother or sister to talk to about it. Please use the box on this page record your answer and methods.

 

Next look at the ‘Guided Practice’ which shows you some of the different style questions. I have left my working out and the answers on the worksheet so you can see the setting out and how to go about answering these types of questions.

 

Now it is your turn! Have a go at the ‘Independent Practice’ which is a copy of the worksheet that you would have completed in your MNP workbooks at school.

Think carefully about how to form the letter ‘s’. Practise writing the ss double letters in the words and sentences on the worksheet. After, make up your own sentences containing some of the words.

L.O: to see what Hindus believe about Gods and Goddesses

 

Look through the PowerPoint which takes you through some of the different Gods and Goddesses from Hinduism.

 

For your activity today, I would like you to choose one of these Gods or Goddesses to create a fact file on them. There are three different worksheet options to choose from, one star is bronze, two stars are silver and three stars are gold.

Wellbeing Afternoon:

At school, we have decided to have Friday afternoon as a relax time. Before you do this, have a look at the past week - are there any lessons you've missed that you could finish off today.

 

Take some time to relax and enjoy time at home. You may want to do some colouring, jigsaws, play a game, read a book or watch a movie.
