RE

RE

In RE we will be considering two big questions: 'What does it mean to be a Hindu in Britain today?' and 'What is the Trinity?'

Our first question 'What does it mean to be a Hindu in Britain today?' allows children to learn about key aspects of Hindu belief and worship. We are focusing on British Hindu's within this topic, and how they can differentiate from the original Indian Hindu. We will find out some key Hindu beliefs, and how these are expressed in thoughts and actions. We will also think about being a Hindu in Britain today.

Within our second question of 'What is the Trinity?' we will be covering the differences between a Gospel and a letter, offer suggestions about what texts about the Trinity and baptisms might mean, give examples of what texts might mean to some Christians today, describe how Christians show their belief about God and the Trinity through worship, and make links within Bible stories to our own beliefs.

If you have any worries surrounding the sensitivity of your child to these topics and would like to know more about what will be discussed, then please just get in contact and we can arrange a time to go through it with you.
