Week Beginning 26th June 2023
For some of us it’s our last few weeks in Nursery before we start Reception in September! We’ve been talking about our transition into Reception and we’re going to be doing lots of things in the next few weeks to prepare us for ‘big school’, including some visits and story times in Reception! We’re all very excited and feel very grown up! On Tuesday, the children who are starting Reception at Leigh in September had their first visit! Mrs Miskin read them a story and she said they all sat and listened beautifully!
Practising for Sports Day in PE…
On Wednesday we had our Sports Day! It was so much fun! We all tried our best with the activities and cheered on our team.
We are all winners!!
On Thursday it was ‘Wellbeing’ afternoon. We talked about how it’s important to look after our mental health as well as our physical health. We did some ‘Under The Sea’ Yoga and all felt very calm and chilled afterwards!
