Within ‘Living in Environments’, we:

• Identify a variety of habitats and explore why organisms live in a variety of habitats

• Group organisms according to their characteristics

• Classify animals into specific groups according to their characteristics

• Use a classification key to identify animals

• Identify and classify a variety of British plants

• Explore the human impact on habitats and environments

Whilst learning about ‘Eating and Digestion’ we:

• Identify and classify carnivores, herbivores and omnivores
• Construct and interpret a variety of food chains
• Identify the different types of teeth in humans and identify their functions
• Explore different ways of keeping teeth healthy
• Investigate how the digestive system works
• Describe the functions of the basic parts of the digestive system.
